The Traceability of Our Products and Our Transparency

Because we know that it is important for you to buy clothes from a brand that will not make false promises, we want to provide you with all the information we have regarding the content of our products, their origin as well as their mode of manufacture.
We may be missing some information, but we will always make sure to monitor, investigate and notify you of the provenance of all of our components in a transparent manner.
Here are some components that you will find inside our different products:

Q-NOVA® by Fulgar

Q-NOVA® by Fulgar is an environmentally friendly recycled nylon 6.6 fiber obtained from reclaimed raw materials in accordance with current traceability criteria and requirements.

Fulgar has developed a highly ecological product which aims to reduce CO2 emissions, consume less water and use renewable energies. The benefits resulting from the reduction of emissions and water consumption have been measured according to the European method LCA - ISO 14040 and ISO 14044.

Q-NOVA® is made from waste materials from the company's main production cycle. These materials were otherwise unusable and would have been disposed of as external waste. The discarded materials are remelted using a mechanical regeneration process, after which they return to Fulgar as a polymer which is then incorporated into further processing steps. Over 50% of Q-NOVA® fiber comes from recycled materials. In doing so, we reduce CO2 emissions by 47% and water consumption by 39% per kilogram of product compared to virgin polymer textured polyamide fiber.

Q-NOVA® is certified and traced by the Global Recycle Standard system, the European ECOLABEL EU system and by the OEKO-TEX STD 100 CLASS I system. All these certifications guarantee the integrity of the fiber.

Among its many properties, Q-NOVA® is a lightweight fabric with the same qualities as cotton or polyester fabrics. It has excellent moisture control which means the skin stays fresh and dry and is designed to give the best dye quality possible. In addition, fabrics and garments made from Q-NOVA® are as robust as those made from virgin polyamide.

Amni Soul Eco®

Amni Soul Eco® is a polyamide yarn with enhanced biodegradability, developed and produced by Solvay and distributed by FULGAR. As demonstrated by laboratory biodegradation tests in accordance with ASTM D5511 *, Amni Soul Eco® biodegrades in approximately 5 years when landfilled, compared to over 50 years for synthetic fibers in general. It reduces the environmental impact and the amount of waste left for future generations.
*Standard Test Method for Determining Anaerobic Biodegradation of Plastic Materials Under High-Solids Anaerobic -Digestion Conditions (equivalent to ISO 15985).

Why is Amni Soul Eco® sustainable? How does it help the environment?
Each product at the end of its life, when discarded, has an impact on the environment. Non-biodegradable products, more specifically, do not decompose after being landfilled, which is of course extremely harmful from an environmental point of view. On the other hand, products with enhanced biodegradability, such as Amni Soul Eco®, have a limited environmental impact because, after burial, they are transformed into organic matter (biomass) and biogas which can become new resources for the environment, as well as be used for the combined production of heat and electricity.

Since it is biodegradable, is it not likely to smell or deteriorate after use? Is it possible that it attracts bacteria that can cause disease in its users?
The biodegradation properties of Amni Soul Eco® become apparent only and exclusively under landfill conditions, where there is no oxygen and where bacteria are found specifically responsible for anaerobic decomposition. Therefore, it does not decompose after standard use, and the life cycle of this product is the same as that of traditional polyamide yarns.

Is this product free from toxic substances?
Yes. Amni Soul Eco® is in fact certified Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1, to guarantee the absence of substances that could harm the health of adults, children and babies. Oeko-Tex is the independent control and certification system that certifies the safety of textile products for human use.

What are the benefits of Amni Soul Eco®?
In addition to its environmental qualities, Amni Soul Eco® also meets market requirements: Softness - Comfort - Quality of dyeing - Breathability - Ease of maintenance.
